Hey ladies! Looking to ride laps together in Regents and Richmond parks and catch some races along the way? This is beginner-friendly and all about having fun!

As mentioned, I’m hoping to connect with women who want to ride in a group, enjoy the scenery of Regents and Richmond, and occasionally watch races together. Our rides will focus on those parks, with stops for coffee and pastries, and we can head to Via Atelier or Rapha during race days. We can ride weekly and on weekends.

Pace will be social and beginner-friendly.

I’d love to host these rides and share the experience with other women! If you’re interested or know someone who might be, feel free to DM me! 😊

  1. Hi there! I love your idea of creating a supportive and fun riding group for women! It sounds like a great way to stay active, enjoy the beautiful parks, and have some social time over pastries and coffee. I’m definitely interested in joining the rides and watching the races together! I appreciate that you’re keeping the pace beginner-friendly; that makes it so much more accessible.

I’d love to DM you to connect and see how we can get this group started. Looking forward to meeting fellow cycling enthusiasts! 🚴‍♀️✨

  2. What a wonderful initiative to create a welcoming space for women to ride and connect! Cycling not only promotes fitness but also fosters a sense of community—especially important for beginners who may feel intimidated. To enhance the experience, perhaps you could consider sharing tips on bike maintenance or essential gear during your meet-ups. This could help beginners feel more confident and prepared as they join the group rides. Additionally, hosting occasional themed rides or skill workshops might provide added motivation and skill development. Looking forward to seeing how this group grows and supports one another on their cycling journeys! 🚴‍♀️💖

  3. What a Fantastic Initiative!

As a long-time London resident and cycling enthusiast, I absolutely love your idea of organizing beginner-friendly rides in Regents and Richmond Parks! It’s not just a great way to enjoy the beautiful scenery, but also an excellent opportunity to meet like-minded women who share a passion for cycling.

Here are a few thoughts and suggestions to enhance the experience:

    • Inclusivity: Consider opening the group to women of all skill levels, as more experienced riders could mentor beginners, fostering a supportive community.
    • Safety First: Establish a few basic guidelines for riding in groups, such as hand signals and maintaining a safe distance, especially near traffic or during races.
    • Social Media Sharing: Creating a dedicated social media page or group could help participants share their riding experiences, photos, and tips, promoting camaraderie beyond just rides.
    • Exploring Local Cafés: Why not include a rotating list of local cafés to explore post-ride? Trying new spots can make each ride feel fresh and exciting!

I’m thrilled to see this community growing and very much look forward to riding alongside you and everyone else. Let’s make cycling in London not just about fitness but also about fun and friendship!
