Our ongoing mission to review all of the Bloody Mary outlets in London continues as we add further snippets to our collection of opinions. This week we were reviewing two. The fashionable and fast-moving Fallow and the Swan Theatre on South Bank. See what you make of our opinions and perhaps fire us a comment with where we should be going next!
3/5
The Swan Theatre, South bank
Excellent Bloody Mary at the Swan theatre/pub venue. This is quite a relaxed place with various French and elderly people frequenting, whether just being complicated and sophisticated or just taking a break from walking the South Bank. The Bloody Mary was interesting in that we had three made by three different people, all of which were excellent. The first was rather watery, but my friend rather appreciated this in his state. The second was further to the spicy side, whilst the third was intriguing and mysterious. All things considered a 7/10 overall as there was a hefty service price even on just two drinks.
3/5
Fallow, Haymarket
This was an excellent restaurant, one of the best we have attended, but the Bloody Mary was not such a revelation. It was heavy on tradition and (perhaps in light of the quality of everything else they served) failed to really shine. Overall a 6/10 for the Bloody Mary, but you must visit Fallow as it is a sensation!
